Bennington,
Vt.,
following
a long
battle
with
cancer.
Born
Dec.
30,
1943
in
Cambridge,
N.Y.,
she
was
the
daughter
of the
late
E.
Carlton
and A.
Marjorie
(Snell)
Tuttle.
Sherry
was a
graduate
of
Cambridge
Central
School,
Class
of
1961
and
Samaritan
Hospital
School
of
Nursing
in
Troy.
She
retired
from
Pleasant
Valley
Infirmary
after
many
years
of
service.
She
enjoyed
knitting,
quilting
and
sewing,
and
enjoyed
sharing
her
accomplishments
with
family
and
friends.
Sherry
looked
forward
to
spending
her
summers
at the
camp
on
Hedges
Lake.
As a
young
child,
she
modeled
for
Norman
Rockwell
and
was on
three
covers
of the
Saturday
Evening
Post.
Survivors
include
her
husband
of 40
years,
William
C.
Burns
of
Greenwich;
two
sisters,
Carla
Linnett
of
Greenwich
and
Cynthia
(John)
Randall
of
Queensbury;
one
brother,
Scott
Tuttle
of
Indiana;
one
sister-in-law,
Joan
(Ken)
DeRagon
of
Greenwich;
and
several
nieces,
nephews
and
cousins.
A
funeral
service
will
be
held
at 1
p.m.
Tuesday,
Dec.
29,
2009
at
Flynn
Bros.
Inc.
Funeral
Home,

St.,
Greenwich.
