WATERFORD Nancy M. Messier, 72, of Terri Ave. passed away Saturday February 1, 2025 at Albany Medical Center. Her husband Gary passed away the same day, several hours later. Born in West Sandgate, VT. Nancy was the daughter of the late Matthew Saari Sr. and Margaret Bentley Saari. She was a 1971 graduate of Cambridge Central School.

Nancy enjoyed collecting photos of her grandchildren to display in her home, decorating for the holidays, and secret handshakes, high fives, and hugs from her grandchildren.

She is the wife of the late Gary Messier and mother of Jason J. Messier (Nicole) of Holly Springs NC, Jeremy W. Messier (Lauren) of East Greenbush, Justin M. Messier and Joshua L. Messier of Waterford. She is the sister of Carol Brown, Linda DeSantis, Bonnia Danaher, Sharon DelGrasso, Kathy Hallock, Jerry Saari and the late Richard Saari, Shirley Burch, Alice Carman, Patricia Jones, Matthew Saari Jr., Barbara Saari, William James Saari and Donald Saari. She is the proud Nana of Brody, Adelena, Serena, Everly, Liana and the late Ariella. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend committal services on Monday February 10, at 10 am at Gerald BH Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery in Schuylerville.
