Joanna (King) Lee, 82, passed away peacefully on December 20, 2023 surrounded by her family.

Born in Cambridge NY to the late Edward and Inez (Brown) King. Joanna was the loving wife of 52 years to the late Richard J. Lee. She is preceded in death by her sisters Ruth Seiger (Bruce), Carol Mohler (Charles), and her brother Alfred King (Nancy).

Joanna was a devoted mother and is survived by her children Peter Lee, Sharon Ernst (William III), and Michael Lee (Emily). She is also survived by her sisters Penny Pytko (Charles III), Betsy Stavenger (David), and Pam Hixon (Todd). Joanna was a loving Grandmother to Billy, Katie, and Erin Ernst, Peter James Lee, and Rylinn, Sawyer, Asher, Katelynn, Axel, and Emerson Lee.

Since her retirement from Ed Levin Jewelry in Cambridge, NY, Joanna was an avid gardener and bird watcher. She was also very involved with Salem United Methodist Church and later with The First Presbyterian Church in Ambler PA. Joanna volunteered at the Morris Arboretum, Philadelphia, PA and continued her love for flowers and greenery. Joanna so enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

A Memorial Service will be scheduled at The First Presbyterian Church, Ambler, PA at a later date. In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her memory to Heifer International, 1 World Avenue, Little Rock, AR 72202 or to The Cornell Lab of Ornithology, 159 Sapsucker Woods Road, Ithaca, NY 14850
