Dear CCS Alumni, As you may know, it has been the goal of the CCS Alumni Association since its inception to develop, maintain and disseminate monies for qualified graduating seniors. The scholarship committee initiated the following formula for distribution. A total of 10% of the principal, rounded down, would be used to create the monetary total. Dividing that by 100 would give us the number of recipients. Upon further inspection, it would seem that our current scholarship principal would never seem to grow given that we would be taking $200 out each year. We have averaged $200 / year from your $1.00 membership dues which has gone directly into this scholarship account. This is where we can all help! Our annual scholarship drive is the month of March each year. No tricks, no gimmicks, nothing to attend, no cookies or cakes to buy! We are simply asking you to send a check for $5.00 made out to the CCS Alumni Scholarship Fund to the Association. Remember you are simply being asked. This is not a minimum or a maximum, but it is a good place to start. Any amount you send will be greatly appreciated. With your help, perhaps the Alumni Scholarship Fund can grow into a major award that the graduates of CCS will be honored to strive for and receive. Thanks,
