50th ANNIVERSARY
BRUNCH

10 A.M. - 12 NOON
Saturday, July 19th
Coffee will be on at 9am. We hope for good
weather so we can splash around in Lauderdale and pretend we are
young again. Starting at 10am and continuing until noon, there will
be a brunch. Probably a lot of us will come early and stay 'til the
end, but it is set up so that those who have other commitments that
morning can still drop in at their convenience and say
hi to everyone.
We are planning individual dishes with home-made corned beef hash
topped with a farm-fresh egg and cooked in the oven. There will be
wonderful pastries from the West Village Market and fresh fruit as
well. We'll keep things simple, kinda "country" as befits a return
to the old hometown but will also try to have a few alternatives for
those whose diets might have some special requirements.
To get to Mook's camp: Take Route 22 to the north end
of Lake Lauderdale and turn right toward the old Pavilion. Continue
across the outlet between Lauderdale and Schoolhouse Pond, then take
the first real right onto Schoolhouse Way. Bear to the right and go
around the back of the old schoolhouse. Wes’ camp is about four or
five cottages down from the schoolhouse, #736 and the only two-story
red building there. Probably the only one with a dull roar coming
out of it, too!!
Spouses are welcome. Since we will need to know how many will
attend, please confirm by Saturday, July 14th, as we have to order
the pastry and Mary Lee has to squeeze her hens. If you’re unable to
attend but your plans change and you can make it at the last minute,
don't stay away because you didn't confirm. Just call. These things
happen, and we'd rather see you than not. If it's the very last
minute, call Mary Lee at 802 447-1497. . Looking forward to
