The Noble family purchased the hardware store from Steve Alexander. Previous owners include Ken Rich and Frank Higgins. Last month they tore down the old white house on the west side of the store to make better parking. Parking on the east side near Cumberland Farms is dangerous and that path also serves as a Main Street exit for Stewarts. Inside they have rearranged a lot of items, brightened up the place . . . but you can still find the same old, squeaky floor boards at the end of aisle #3

          

 Our glorious United Presbyterian Church by the traffic light is in need of a makeover. If you're interested in details of the renovation or if you'd like to make a contribution, contact Jane Wright '57

The Cambridge Village Board announced that the Ackley Building on West Main cannot be repaired and must be demolished.  An article on the history of this building can be found here (http://www.gottry.com).

 

I suspect the Old School may not be far behind. The last inspection of that a few years ago produced a bleak outlook
