ALL SCHOOL REUNION (July 16)!
What a wonderful reunion weekend we
had!!! The weather was perfect...at least for this Southern Gal who
was used to 100 degree weather with LOTS of humidity.
I have got lots of pictures and will be putting them up as soon as
possible. I just got back to Mississippi at 3:30 Monday morning.
Trying to get back into the swing of things. If you have any
pictures you can email me, I will be glad to put them up also.
The rain stayed away from the Scramble until the end. I heard some
people got REALLY wet standing in among the trees. Everyone seemed to
have a wonderful time
Friday evening at the Freight Depot was great. Thanks so much to the
Student Council for an excellent job. The sandwiches were great. The
building we were in was perfect for the reception..very nice
atmosphere, with great music by John Cullinan (Class of 1969) I
really enjoyed the tour of the Freight Yard by Benjie White (Class of
1962) and Sarah Ashton.
Personal thanks to Pam Macauley for allowing us to have a breakfast at
her and Raz's place. Thanks for all the good eats. LOVE THE BAGELS,
SUE!
What perfect weather we had for the Saturday reunion!!!! The American
Legion's meal was delicious..... baked, stuffed chicken breast,
roasted potatoes, corn, Cole slaw, rolls, fresh fruit cup and cake,
iced tea, lemonade, ice water.
The Legion had put in an PA system which helped tremendously!! Tom
McMorris did an excellent job with the picture for the weekend. I got
mine and will be putting all he took on line soon. You can order
pictures at Tom's web site...http://WWW..mcmorrisphoto.Com When I
put Tom's pictures on line, you will not be able to download them and
print them yourself, so if you want them, please contact Tom.
The Alumni Committee will be having a Follow-up meeting very soon. If
you have any comments, suggestions, etc. please post them on the HAVE
YOUR SAY page.
Thanks to the Alumni Association for making my trip possible again
this year. Thanks to all of you who had such positive and encouraging
comments about the web site. I spent 10 wonderful days in Cambridge
and I appreciate all that was done for me while I was there. A BIG
thanks to Cousin Raz and Pam Macauley for my room...always feels like
home.
