CCS Alumni and Friends Newsletter:
The summer is almost gone!! According to the calendar
that is.....here in Mississippi we don't get Fall until
around November.
The web site has been overhauled. Not anything you
might notice because it was mostly the "guts" of the site. However, I
may have messed up some pages and/or links so if you find any thing
wrong, please let me know. If you have a personal page, I hope you
will send in a picture to be put on your page. "Curious minds want to
know", etc......... If you don't have a personal page, why NOT?
The web site has a page for your voice to be heard.
Please visit the Have Your Say page and say hi
Thank you for the help on identifying people in the
Reunion pictures. I am still hoping that others will send me their
pictures. Today I put up some more pictures at
These are pictures I took while in Cambridge. I am
sure you will recognize Clem Crowe in a few pictures and CJ
Stevens,(he is single, you know) but mostly they were taken so I could
show my family what the area looks like. I loved the flowers in the
yards, the beautiful old homes, the landmarks that I remember and the
wonderful scenery. You are welcome to comment on any picture but you
do need a Google
account. (It is free) to put the comments on line.
I think I confused some people. After 8 months of
using this newsletter service, I realized that it does not send the
email in bulk but to everyone individually. I found this out when a
couple people emailed me back saying they didn't ask the question
about the website being down so I must have sent the information to
the wrong person. The short emails you have been receiving from me
are indeed part of the news letter. I will try to remember to put the
notice on the top of the email. For those of you who were not
confused or who didn't even notice, just disregard what I just wrote.
:-)
If anyone can scan a picture of the 2009 Yearbook cover
and a list of the graduates, I would really appreciate a copy so I can
complete their page on the web site.
Please volunteer to be an Alumni Association Class Rep.
Thanks
Until Next Time
Pauline
